Hi! I'm Vikki Gearhart, owner and operator of Gearhart Family Photography! 

I'm so excited that you're here and can't wait to get to know you!

Long before I had my own business or my own children, I worked at a chain photography studio.  While the children that came through this studio always made me giggle, what really gave me a laugh was the frequent question I got from the parents… “How many children of your own do you have?”…. Not “Do you have any children?”… nope, they jumped right to asking for the number of children I must have. Of course, at that point, the answer was ZERO! But I knew all the silly songs to sing, their favorite cartoon characters, how to cuddle a sleeping newborn just right, and the magic of stickers and Smarties! I think if I added up the numbers, I probably have more experience working with kids than not! I always knew I’d be working with kids in one way or another. From babysitting, daycares, preschool, and now photography those happy little people have wiggled their way into whatever I’m working on!

In 2008, I began working on Gearhart Family Photography, hoping to give myself a creative outlet and a more flexible work schedule.  It’s only natural that my focus has been children and families.  I like to think I’m creating custom artwork for your walls that just happens to star your family!

When I’m not shooting a session or at the computer editing, you can find me at the gym, enjoying some family fun with my husband and 3 little boys, or exploring the sites around our new home in Centre County!
